Multipurpose facility migrates to the enterprise accounting solution PVNG by Aptech due to ease of use and exceptional customer service
PITTSBURGH – November 30, 2022 – For the Hilton Chicago and Oak Brook Hills Resort & Conference Center, the simplicity and accessibility of its enterprise accounting solution is key to managing a successful and streamlined financial operation. The bleisure destination is running its general ledger, accounts payable, statistics, financials, and bank reconciliation processes on PVNG by Aptech. Users say the ability to jump between financials from one property to the next, train staff quickly on the system, and use only one platform for multi-property accounting is a game changer.
Director of Finance Maridel Canaday said the dual facility has been running on Aptech for several years. When they learned that Aptech’s legacy accounting application, Profitvue, was being phased out, migrating to PVNG was a logical decision due not only to the system’s flexibility and browser navigation, but because Aptech’s customer service and support has historically been superb, and it is something Canaday said she and her team have come to depend on.

With the switch to PVNG complete, Canaday said the company is now looking to upgrade its budgeting process to Aptech’s Targetvue solution. This tool will give the Hilton Chicago and Oak Brook Hills Resort & Conference Center the ability to build flexible driver-based budgets and forecasts, manage the planning process from a central location, and set goals for every area of their organization.
