Sam Costa brings more than 30 years of experience with Aptech and a deep commitment to delivering effective, efficient service to the company’s hospitality customers. Over the course of his career, Sam has developed extensive, hands-on knowledge of Aptech’s products, programs, and the operational realities of hospitality finance—experience that allows him to serve as both a trusted leader and a practical problem solver for customers and internal teams alike.
As Vice President, Sam leads Aptech’s Client Success Team, overseeing customer implementation, training, and around-the-clock support services. Under his leadership, Aptech customers benefit from consistent, knowledgeable support throughout the entire customer lifecycle. Sam also champions Aptech’s stewardship of the Hospitality 12th Edition Standard Chart of Accounts and reporting structure, helping ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance across all Aptech product offerings.
Sam’s career in hospitality began on the operations side, starting with night audit, where he gained firsthand experience with hotel accounting, reporting, and the day-to-day challenges faced by property-level teams. That foundation continues to shape his customer-focused approach and reinforces his belief in practical, reliable systems that truly support hotel operations.
Sam received his education from Robert Morris College and The Pennsylvania State University. He resides in the Pittsburgh area with his wife. While his children are grown and living on their own, Sam proudly embraces his newest role as a grandfather and enjoys spending time with his grandson.
