Aptech had the pleasure of chatting with Charles Poirier, CFO of American Liberty Hospitality, during our Customer Advisory Board. In this interview, Charles shares how partnering with Aptech solved many of the challenges his properties had prior to installing Aptech's solutions. Meet our Customer Advisory Board

My name is Charles Poirier. I'm with American Liberty Hospitality. We have several properties in the Houston, Texas area, and a couple in Galveston, a couple in Louisiana, mostly Hilton branded, couple by IHG, and they're typical business travelers, just the normal array of hotels.

We use PVNG, Execuvue, and Targetvue. My team uses PVNG exclusively.

What challenges were you facing before using Aptech and how did Aptech help you solve them?

When I started working at American liberty, one of the problems that the team was facing was the challenges around accounts payable, the entering of data into the system and the document management of it all, and we started looking around for other platforms that could help us, Ottimate being one of them that we stumbled upon, and it turned out that PVNG had an API connection to Ottimate already established, and the two companies were already working together. We went that direction. The Ottimate platform has worked out very well for us. They have a similar culture to Aptech and the way that they go about working with their customers. The implementation was very smooth. Both parties worked well with us to help make that happen, and it was. We're very happy with that outcome.

What stands out to you about Aptech?

So specifically to PVNG that platform is very intuitive, easy to use and learn. The support is best in class, and the organization listens to and works with their customers.

How has your experience been working with the Aptech support team?

I call them periodically. The Aptech support team are again, best in class I think, they almost always pick up the phone pretty quickly. They know the answer. Most of the time. If they don't know the answer, they document the question or the issue and get back to us in a very reasonable time frame. It's been superb.  

Closing thoughts

Just overall, we're very happy with the Aptech group their array of products, and I think it's an exciting new journey we're beginning with them underneath Jonas hospitality.
