Meet our Customer Advisory Board

Hi, good afternoon. John Hopkins, managing partner of finance for Ithaca Hospitality Partners, located in Auburn, Alabama. We have multiple types of properties: boutique properties, more group-based properties, and we had a range of business travelers that stay with us. So we try to ensure that we accommodate all the different types of guests that we have.

Which Aptech products do you use?

We currently use PVNG and Targetvue.

What challenges did you face prior to partnering with Aptech?

Many challenges— really simplistic or easy ability to function, train, onboard people. And the biggest thing really for us was support: getting somebody on the other end who could help us. and make that efficient and quickly, not waiting days to get answers.

How easy is it to train new employees, and for new employees to use the systems?

Well, PVNG is very simple to use, easy to train, very intuitive. It makes it very easy for our users. And Targetvue really has helped us get away from the Excel sheets, broken formulas, et cetera. So that's been a good change for us.

How is it working with the Aptech Team?

Yeah, probably in Targetvue. Having, during COVID, gone through a time, went through some training with the Aptech support team. I learned a lot. I was able to get some really good information. Been able to help our team. Train some other people on those applications, so it was great.

What’s the #1 thing that stands out about Aptech to you?

Really the people and customer service. Really enjoy the relationship. It's been a great partnership, six plus years now.
